Without employing a perfect chess strategy, it would be impossible to win a game of chess. A 16-piece army will be in your command. You need to be equipped with a perfect chess strategy all throughout the game because you will serve as the commander in chief of the army.

You will be preparing for battle at the opening. Both you and your opponent will strive to maneuver to strategic positions using their respective chess strategies. Openings are very important so you need to learn more about the ideal chess strategy for the opening game. You can make use of popular opening strategies however, your opponent might already know such move and so he can easily make a counterattack. What you should do is to learn about the different openings and analyze them. From your analysis, try to come up with your own plan or strategy. If your opponent is not yet familiar with your move, it will take some time before he can make a counterattack.

All the action takes place in the middle game. In this part, you will definitely see lots of chess strategies revealed by the players. Both players will attempt to achieve good positioning and capture other pieces at the same time. One of their aims is to safeguard their valuable pieces to prepare for the endgame.

At the end game, you can utilize a good strategy as the King starts to fight. You may be able to checkmate the opponent’s King using the right strategy if you still have valuable chess pieces like the Rook, Bishop, or Queen. Having pawns at the endgame can be useful because they can still help in guarding the King and it can be promoted if it reaches the board’s other side.

To execute the unbeatable chess strategies successfully, careful planning is required. All the chess pieces should work in harmony to create a strong defense. If you know the value of each piece, you will know which ones to sacrifice for better positioning but you need to ensure that you also capture one of your opponent’s piece (with equal or higher value). You still need to consider the moves of your opponent even if you’ve already planned for at least three consecutive chess strategies.

You must always be prepared to execute the right moves because one wrong move can make you lose the game. Don’t waste time. However, making hasty moves is also not advisable. You need to ensure the King’s safety because if your opponent says ‘checkmate’, you might lose. The pawn has the lowest point but it is still an important piece. Every time you move the pawn, it should be protected from any attack.

Being alert at all times is a perfect chess strategy. Controlling the center is proven to be among the unbeatable strategies in chess. If you can control the four center squares, you have a higher chance of winning. You should also think about the endgame and prepare for the effective moves to ensure victory.

Simple Chess Strategy for Pawn

June 8th, 2009

Pawns can only move in one direction unlike the other pieces – forward. The lowly pawn can become any other chess piece when it reaches the final square on the other side of the board but oftentimes, it transforms into a Queen. Did you know that you can have two Queens in one game? However this rarely happens but if it does, you can use the Rook to represent the other Queen by turning it upside-down. There are many ways to win the chess game and having a simple chess strategy for the pawns may ensure victory.

When you move a pawn forward, you can open the diagonals for Queen and Bishops. You can also protect other chess pieces through the pawn and make the necessary moves. A pawn can even pry the King’s side to open. However, if the pawn has strengths, it also has weaknesses and if the player can’t make proper moves, the pawns can become weak and cause you to lose the game.

As the game continues, all your pawns must be coordinated. You need to treat them as the house’s foundation. If there are holes and cracks, the house will eventually fall down. Take note of this simple chess strategy – don’t double the pawns. This happens when pawns are in front of each other. When a piece is captured, double pawns can occur and you must be aware that pawns can recapture. Try to recapture to avoid double pawns but be extra careful and study the consequences of such movement.

The middle game can also be defined as to how you use the pawns. In traditional openings, a pawn chain is a simple chess strategy. If your opponent makes use of such strategy, you can attack the pawn at the rear since it is the weakest. If you plan to use the pawn chain strategy, you should guard the pawns at the rear so that your opponent can’t penetrate.

As your pawn approaches the final rank, it becomes more powerful. When your pawn is near the final square, your opponent will not hesitate to give up a Bishop or a Knight to prevent transformation. Try to keep this simple chess strategy in mind – you need to push passed pawns.

When you move a pawn, you must be aware of its weakness. You need to be aware that every pawn controls two squares. Once you move them forward, it will automatically lose control of the squares. Always think twice before you move any pawn.

When the pawn is in front of the King, you must not push the pawn. Your opponent may see such weakness and attack your King. Whenever you move a chess piece, whether it’s a pawn or one of higher rank, it should be guarded. That way, you will let your opponent think hard on the next move.

Simple pawn chess strategies can make you win the game. Follow the strategies mentioned earlier and try to learn more on how to use the pawns effectively.

Chess like Strategy Game: The Martian Chess

The Martian chess is kind of chess strategy game in which the location, instead of the pieces color influence the pieces you should move. The same as in Chess game, each piece moves in uniquely different way and you can capture by moving onto the square where your opponent piece is positioned. However, unlike the chess game, you can move only the pieces placed in your own quadrant as well as attack those pieces that are in your opponent’s quadrant which can possibly include the pieces you formerly owned. The game will be concluded when a player runs out of pieces and the player who acquired the most points wins the game.

Each of the players will begin by setting up three of each size Icehouse pieces that totals to 9 pieces all in all. You can disregard the color of the pyramid since the color makes no significance in the Martian chess, so select different variety of colors that you like for starting up.

The pieces include the Queens, Drones, and Pawns. The queens are the largest pieces and can move in any direction as far as you like in straight or diagonal motion, just like the queen in a regular chess game. The drones are the medium pieces and can only move on straight basic directions and not diagonally in one or two spaces at a time just like the Rook in a regular chess game, just limited in range. The pawns are the smallest pieces and can move at one space, in any direction at a time.

To be able to play the Martian chess, imagine a pair or dividing lines that are perpendicular and split the board into four. These lines that divide the board are called the Canals. Throughout the game, each of the players will have absolute control of one of the zones (which are 4 zones) that are separated by canals.

Playing the Martian game is by location so any pieces that are in your designated zone of the board is yours and you are the one that can control them. Every time the pieces are moved across a canal, those pieces change ownerships so they can be owned by your opponent. The piece of your opponent can be captured by moving your own piece onto its square, the same as in normal chess. In this way, every time you capture, the piece you used becomes the piece of your opponent whose piece you took.

The fun part of this game is whoever player whose color of the hair is closest to color red shall go first. As what is mentioned earlier, the game ends when a player runs out of piece and the quadrant is empty. The player that acquires the highest points wins the game. Points are counted and totaled; 3 points for queens, 2 for drones, and 1 for pawn. Remember that you can play with a maximum of four players.

This Martian chess is really a brain stimulant also. It uses chess like strategy to win the game.

Possibly, the most enjoyable and interesting battle that can be found in World of Warcraft is the chess event. This event involves the players to take control of the chess pieces and maneuver them on the board to battle and launch attacks. This event however does not follow the real rules of chess other than the main objective of chess which is to defeat and capture the King of the opposing force. In this battle, when players lose, the even can just be restarted without penalty or retribution for losing. However, upon winning the chess event, you will be rewarded with a dusty covered chess that contains your prizes.

To be able to win the chess even in World of Warcraft, you should develop and formulate a chess  strategy that will help you achieved your goal and win the battle. Each of the players can take control the chess pieces and manipulate it to attack your opponents’ chess pieces. The players can take control of a piece by simply talking to it. They will obtain a pet bar that has different abilities hat can be used to move and attack. The player can also acquire a buff that indicates their control over that particular piece. When a particular piece of the player dies, they will be given a debuff that does not allow them to choose and acquire a new piece for the time being. Moreover, if you decide to abandon your current piece, you can just click to off the buff.

Each of the chess pieces have some common abilities stated on the pet bar that includes the move and turn facing. The 4th pet move ability can bring up an aoe (age of empire) targeting circle. You can place this over a square where you wish to move into. The turn facing ability of the fifth pet uses an aoe of the same targeting circle to select which direction you want your chess piece to face. The chess pieces here can only face the prime directions and not diagonals. They will automatically fight the chess piece of the opponent they are facing.

The pawns here are the orc grunts and the human footmen. As every game of chess, they should be moved first to be able for the major pieces at the back row to move and advance forward. They can attack instantly as well as absorb damage in moving. They can also move to any near square you choose.

The Knights are the horses and wolves here. They can attack ad damage up to 3000 points. They move like in real chess game (an “L” shape move). But, they can also do without moving into the one square and only move into the 2 squares in any basic directions.

The Bishops here are probably the most important pieces on the board. They are the healers in the battle. They are the ones that should watch the King’s health and controlled accordingly. They are also similar to some of the other pieces that can be move to only one near square.

The Rooks however are the demons and can control water elements in the game. Rooks have an aoe that can damage at around 3000 points at all the squares around it. They also have this reduction damage ability. Same as the Bishops, they can also move one square at a time.

The Queen is the orc warlock and the human magician. She can move of up to 3 straight squares or two diagonal squares. The have two powerful abilities which are to move and strikes a square for 4000 points and the second is to attack a square and its surroundings for 6000 points.

The King is the Warchief Blackhand and is King Llane. They are the main objective of the game. The game ends when one of the players’s King died. He can attack 3 squares in front of him and damage up to 4000 points. He can also buff all next to him allies for a damage increase of up to 50%.

From these, you can formulate your own best chess event strategy to defeat your opponent’s King.
